With Summer rolling in and the CDC recommending that it’s safe to be outdoors without masks again, it’s an excellent time to get out into the great outdoors for a bit of adventure and excitement, things the whole family can get in on!
There’s so much to do in Colorado. Denver.org offers a considerable number of suggestions for things to do in nature this summer. Here are some of our recommendations for summer adventures in the great outdoors!
Stop to Smell the Flowers -- The Denver Botanic Gardens are open with lots to do and see. Green thumb or all thumbs, you’ll appreciate the beauty of one of the top five botanic gardens in the country!
Swim with Sharks -- If you feel like testing your courage, come swim with the sharks at the Downtown Aquarium! Sharks really get a terrible reputation, but here’s a chance to commune with live sharks and dispel that rumor.
See Denver from a Scooter -- You and your family can join a guided tour of Denver on a motorized scooter with ScooTours Denver!
Kayak Confluence Park -- You can now rent kayaks for adventures in the whitewater chutes of Confluence Park!
Ride a Zipline -- For a real heart-pounding adventure, there are EDGE Zipline tours centered on the front of the Rockies!
Take a Balloon Ride -- Enjoy a perfect view of the Colorado natural beauty from a hot-air balloon, courtesy of Adventures Out West in Colorado Springs or Fair Winds Hot Air Balloons in Boulder!
We hope whatever adventures you and your family take this summer, you’ll be safe and have a good experience. If you plan on traveling and require auto repairs or a check-up, be sure to schedule an appointment with Antero soon!
